As most of you know, KDA takes student images and privacy very seriously. Upon creating your account in iClassPro, you would have had the option to agree or decline various image release forms. These can be changed at any time through logging into the portal. KDA may use images more this year than in the past, however, identifiable student images will not be used for anything that parents do not agree to through the class portal.

As per our policy all students (except adult and advanced classes) must wear a dance body stocking at photo sessions, rehearsals and performances. It is basically a skin coloured leotard which is worn under costumes. They can be purchased from the dance shops or via online stores. Any brand or style is acceptable but please buy one as close to your child’s skin colour as possible and avoid styles with plastic straps as they break easily and do irritate some student’s skin. Please Google ‘dance body stocking’ to see some images if you are unsure what they are.
Why? - It gives them body coverage whilst changing their costumes and replaces the need to wear underpants. It also gives extra protection under light coloured costumes. If underpants are still required, then please ensure they are skin colour.
Please ensure your child wears their body stocking underneath their tights and class uniform to the:
Costume hand out and studio dress rehearsals
Photo sessions
Theatre rehearsals
Performances
Please ensure the students wear their class leotard over the top of the body stocking to these events.
