What We Teach
Ballet (RAD syllabus): classical technique taught with real warmth, from first pliés in Pre-School to demi-pointe and pointe work for our senior dancers.
Jazz: energetic choreography and popular music make this one of our most-loved classes for kids and teens alike.
Tap: rhythmic and musical, surprisingly meditative once the pattern clicks, popular with kids and adult beginners alike.
Hip Hop: upbeat and expressive, with moves that build both confidence and coordination.
Contemporary: a chance to move with real emotion and individuality, building on ballet and jazz technique.
Acrobatic Dance (ADA syllabus): strength, flexibility and a genuine sense of achievement with every new skill landed.
VCE VET Dance: structured performance assessment for senior students serious about taking dance further.
Yoga: Monday and Wednesday classes offering a calmer, non-performance alternative to our high-energy dance styles.
Getting to KDA
Mont Albert families generally reach our Blackburn South studio via Union Road and Whitehorse Road, in around ten to twelve minutes. Free parking is available on Baratta Street, just around the corner from the studio on Indra Road.

Yes, families with two dancers receive a 5% discount on term fees, and families with three or more receive 10%, on top of an extra 10% for early payment by week one of term.

We welcome dancers from age 3 in our Pre-School classes right through to Adult classes, with no upper age limit.

Yes, our free trial class offer is genuinely available for new students, booked in a class matched to your child's age and experience, with no pressure to enrol.

Hair must be tied back in a ponytail, bun or equivalent (no plaits, for safety reasons) and hair past waist length must be in a bun. Ballet classes always require a bun.

As a courtesy to our neighbouring shop traders, we ask families to use the Baratta Street parking facilities as a priority over the parks directly on Indra Road.
