Dance Classes Surrey Hills

Surrey Hills is a quiet, established suburb, and we find its families tend to value the same things we do; consistency, familiar faces, and a studio that isn't constantly changing hands or rebranding.

Why Surrey Hills Families Choose KDA

Our RAD and ADA certifications mean Surrey Hills families chasing structured, syllabus-based training don't have to sacrifice the personal touch of a smaller studio to get it.

Family Friendly, and All Welcome

We've taught Surrey Hills siblings and cousins across the same classes for years. It's a small enough community that dance friendships often turn into real ones outside the studio too.

Free Trial Class

A free trial class is genuinely free and genuinely no-obligation. The easiest way to see if KDA suits your family before enrolling.

What We Teach

  • Ballet (RAD syllabus): from tiny first steps at the barre to optional RAD exams for our older students, taught with patience and genuine encouragement.

  • Jazz: vibrant and expressive, a style dancers of every age throw themselves into with real enthusiasm.

  • Tap: the sound of rhythm in motion, building musicality and coordination one shuffle and ball-change at a time.

  • Hip Hop: cool moves and current music, a class kids genuinely look forward to every week.

  • Contemporary: fluid and expressive, a favourite with teens and adults looking for something more reflective.

  • Acrobatic Dance (ADA syllabus): dancers build core strength and flexibility while ticking off new skills, one cartwheel at a time.

  • VCE VET Dance: a pathway for older students to turn their passion for dance into VCE units.

  • Yoga: a gentle, low-pressure class for building flexibility and focus, taught by a genuinely experienced yoga teacher.
