2026 End of Year Concert Update

It is hard to believe Term 3 is almost finished! All the EOY Dances are coming along nicely and we can’t wait to see them all on the stage next term.

  • As the concert approaches, students will require a body stocking and tights for rehearsal days, photos and whilst at the theatre. KDA will be trialling a bulk order from Bloch of all your EOY concert essentials. Through the bulk order, we are able to secure a discount we can pass onto you! Any items purchased through KDA will receive a 10% discount on Bloch RRP.

    Use the discount code KDAConcert when checking out of the online portal for the 10% discount to be applied.

    The order will be placed on the 10th of October (Week 1 of Term 4) so make sure you order before the cut off. Items will then be handed out to students in class once received by KDA. Late orders will not be accepted. If you require additional dance shoes or uniform, please contact the office as we can add these to the order to secure you a discount.

    Be sure to select the correct item, as refunds and returns are subject to Bloch’s T&Cs and reliant on KDA receiving this from Bloch.

    What tights does my dancer need?

    Pre-School: Salmon Pink Footed tights (same as class)

    Sub Junior: Salmon Pink Stirrup Tights (same as class)

    Sub Inter: Salmon Pink Convertible Tights (same as class)

    Inters, Seniors and Advanced:

    • Ballet: Salmon Pink Convertible Tights

    • Jazz, Tap, Acro, Contemporary, Hip Hop: Tan Convertible Tights

  • There will be a number of weeks with timetable changes as we prepare for the concert.

    Week 5: Cup Week Timetable

    Week 6: Dress Rehearsals (no timetable change)

    Week 8: Combining Week Timetable

  • National Photography will once again be setting up in our studios to take the photos of the students in their costume/s. Group photos will be taken along with individual photos.

  • The End of Year theatre rehearsals are on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of December. The date/time(s) that you and/or your child are rehearsing at the theatre can be found here: https://www.kallistadance.au/upcoming-events/2026-theatre-rehearsals

    Students are to arrive at the theatre ready to be signed in at the commencement time of their rehearsal block.

    Students are to wear stage make-up and have their hair done as though they were performing (in a bun unless otherwise advised). This is to be done at home.

    All students must be signed in and out by an adult - exception: Senior, Advanced and Adult classes can sign themselves in and out.

    Students to arrive at the theatre 1 hour before their performance time. 

    Each performance will go for approximately 2hrs and 30min including a 20 minute interval.

    Pre-School and Sub Junior classes finish dancing at interval and will be signed out then.

    If you or your child cannot participate on the day, please let us know ASAP. 

    You do not need to buy your child a ticket for any shows that they are performing in.

    If you are in the situation where you cannot see all of your children’s dances in at least one show, please email the office admin@kallistadance.au so we can issue you with the promotional code to receive 2 complimentary tickets when booking your tickets.

  • Costume hire and performance fee statements have been emailed out. Some classes’ costumes will be charged late in Term 4 once costumes have been finalised. Please make sure fees are paid by the due dates to ensure students receive their costumes.
