KDA Dance Fees

Enrolment Fee

A non-refundable annual enrolment fee of $25.00 (GST inclusive) is required per student upon enrolment.

Term Fees

Term fees are based on the number of weeks in a school term and how many hours a week each student dances. Our fee schedule for a 10 week term is outlined on page 23. The cost per class varies based on how many hours a week a student dances at KDA. For example, student A dances for 2 hours a week but Student B dances for 4 hours a week and they attend the same one hour class. Total 10 week term fees for student A would be $458.75 and student B $812.25 but the cost for the one hour class for student A would be $229.40 and student B would be $203.10 as the hourly rate discounts the more hours a student dances. 

Fees for Term 1 will be issued once the new year enrolment forms have been processed. For the remainder of the year, fees for the next term will be issued to each student in the term breaks. GST applies to all fees except VCE VET dance classes.

  • A family discount will apply to term fees. Families with 2 students will receive a discount of 5% and a 10% discount will apply for those with 3 or more students. 

    An early discount of 10% will apply to term fees paid by the first week of term (this is in addition to the family discount).

  • Most costumes will be HIRED out for our performances. Each costume is charged at $27.50 (GST inclusive). Costumes for the EOY concert will be charged late term 3, early term 4. Competition and other performance hire fees will be charged at an appropriate time.

  • For both the Mid Year Display and End of Year Concert a fee will be charged per performer to cover the costs of the videographer. This fee then entitles each performer to a copy of the downloadable files for the performace/s that they danced in. The fee for the MYD is $16.00 and for the EOY $21.00 (GST Inclusive). This will be charged on your Term 2 and Term 4 statements respectively.

  • Private lessons can be booked in for competition dances or general technique classes. The cost for a one hour solo private lesson is $94.00 (GST inclusive). For duo or trio private lessons, the price per student will be divided by how many students are participating in the class. No discounts apply to private lessons.

  • Fees must be paid by week THREE of each term. Failure to do so will result in a $15.00 late fee. If they are still not paid by week FOUR, students will not be able to participate in further classes.

    Please note: All unattended classes must be paid for. Exceptions apply for extended holidays if advised prior to the commencement of term and extended illness. For the latter, a doctor’s certificate will be required. Make up classes can be arranged within the same term.

  • Internet Banking

    Credit Card: Credit Card payments can be made through our online portal and merchant Payrix. 

    Direct Debit: Direct Debit payments can be made through our online portal and merchant Payrix. 

    Cash, Cheque and money order payments will not be accepted by our office. If you wish to use these methods, please take the money to your bank and deposit directly to our account and quote the invoice number as reference.  

    Receipts: Receipts are available through the iClass Pro portal.
